About Tech Fest
Immerse yourself in the world of computer science. Develop and sharpen your technology skills through both coding and no‑code competitions designed specifically for middle school students.
Whether you are an experienced programmer or simply curious about technology, Tech Fest 2026 offers an exciting opportunity to learn, compete, and grow.
Registration
All students may participate in Logical Rhythm.
For the in‑person June 6 event, students must choose one of the following:
- Code Quest — for students with coding experience
- Brain Blast — no coding experience needed; seats limited to 20
Team Information: For coding competitions, teams of up to three students are required. Students will be contacted after registration with team information and additional instructions from moklaeducation@gmail.com.

Logical Rhythm
Online Coding Competition
Dates: May 23 – June 4
A flexible multi‑day coding competition featuring 6–8 challenges focused on:
- Programming fundamentals
- Data structures
- Algorithms
- Logical problem solving
Format: Team Competition (up to 3 students)
All registered students may participate.
Code Quest
In‑Person Coding Competition
Date: Saturday, June 6
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Redmond High School
Features approximately 6 programming challenges designed to be solved within a few hours.
- Programming implementation
- Algorithmic thinking
- Efficient problem solving
Format: Team Competition (up to 3 students)
Recommended for students with coding experience.
Brain Blast
In‑Person No‑Code Technology Competition
Date: Saturday, June 6
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Redmond High School
A no‑code competition featuring rounds such as:
- Technology quiz rounds
- Rapid learning challenges
- Technical deep dives
- Presentation & explanation challenges
Format: Individual Competition
Seats are limited (20 maximum).
Recommended for students interested in technology without requiring coding experience.

For Coding Competitions
- Programming or algorithm reference books
- Coding environment installed and ready
For Brain Blast
- Presentation materials (charts, paper, markers, slides, etc.)
Rules & Guidelines
- AI tools are not permitted in any competition
- No internet access during in‑person coding competitions
- All participants must follow fair play guidelines
- Permission required to use mokla.org for coding competitions
