EMS Science Olympiad Invitational 2025–2026
Evergreen Middle School proudly hosted the Science Olympiad Invitational on January 31, welcoming 18 schools across two states, 36 teams, and nearly 540 students, along with many parents and volunteers. It was an exciting day of science, teamwork, and healthy competition across our school campus.
EMS teams had a strong showing, bringing home two trophies - Phoenix (2nd place) and Eagles (5th place), with Hawks (6th place) and Falcons (7th place) close behind. Dragons and Merlins also demonstrated great participation and sportsmanship.
This invitational would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community. We sincerely thank the participating schools, many of whom created event question papers, helped proctor and grade events, and ensured the day ran smoothly. We are especially grateful to the EMS PTSA for their tremendous support in securing school facilities and coordinating logistics, which made hosting an event of this scale possible.
Special thanks to our coaches, parents, and volunteers from EMS, Seven Lakes High School Science Olympiad Club, EMS staff and custodial team, and student volunteers from Eastlake High School, who supported events throughout the day and energized the awards ceremony. We are also thankful to Principal Devin Engledew for his continued support of the EMS Science Olympiad program.
Thank you to every team and school that contributed to making this invitational a success.
