First Day of School Help

Volunteers need to be LWSD approved.

The school is looking for volunteers to help with 32 stations to "entertain" 7th and 8th graders during the first few hours of school on Tuesday, September 2nd.

Since the district doesn't provide buses to have a staggered start like in past years (7th and 8th graders start later than 6th graders), school staff is preparing activities for the first 2 hours of school. That way, 6th graders get the school "to themselves" for the first few hours, in which they will get a tour, meet their web leaders, their teachers and more, making the transition to middle school less stressful.
